Spear of Destiny occurs as British rock band established in 1983 by singer and songster Kirk Brandon, using the ever-changing line-higher through the years. He experienced antecedently been in The Pack, and from either 1980 to 1982 in the post-punk Theatre of Hate with its album Westworld and lone "Do you believe in the Westworld?".

When got happened by using Joy Division and New Order, the band were criticised for using the title Spear of Destiny, with its likely Nazi overtones. Any such links were fiercely denied.
